Remarks |
It is located on the second floor of a building facing Nakamachi Street, near the tourist spot Matsumoto Castle. (Manamayu Building) Enter the building from the street and go up the stairs to the 2nd floor. |
This is an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located on the second floor, a short walk from the Nawate-dori shopping street in Matsumoto City. I visited because it was open for lunch. Since it was a holiday, the place was almost full even though it was after 1pm. Inside the store, there were two raised tables, a counter, and maybe some table seats in the back. When I think of Nagano, I think of soba, so I ordered C, a great value lunch set. 1,100 yen for smooth soba noodles, just the right size of yam rice, and a large kakiage. The reason I forgot to bring out the soba-yu was because I was so busy.
