【超お得で美味しいホテルランチ】
蔓延防止等重点措置の影響で軽井沢の店も割と多く休業になって来ていて、否が応でも外食の多い僕は結構影響受けている。
そんな中、救世主のようにホテルマロウド軽井沢のフレンチレストラン「ルミエール」のランチ予約が取れた。
12時半にホテル着。
ランチコースはプリフィックスメニュー一本。
前菜、スープ、メイン、デザート、飲み物の構成。
ホテルのランチで税サービス込みで2970円とは超お得!
まず前菜は
「自家製キッシュ、サラダ」とメニューには書いているが、生ハムも一切れプラスされていてちょっと嬉しい。キッシュは玉子がたっぷりで味もしっかりとして美味しい。
細切りにされた根菜中心のサラダは最初乾いているように見えて、ちょっと食欲わかない感じだったが、食べてみるとドレッシングの美味しさ含めてキッチリ、シャキシャキ感もあって美味しかった。すいません、失礼しました。
続いて
「軽井沢産の白菜スープ」…甘くて胡椒ピリリかと思ったら、意外にタンパクな味でサッパリとしたタイプ。味はちゃんと美味しい。
さてメイン。相方はランチのデフォルト「真鯛のポワレ、キノコと季節野菜のナージュ仕立て」をセレクト。少しシェアしてもらい食べたが、皮目はパリパリ焼かれ身はほっくり柔らか。ソースも含めかなり美味しい。
僕の方は+800円して「鴨肉のコンフィ」に変更。
レンズ豆の上にコンフィ、そして蓮根、紅玉りんご、カリフラワー、ケールが添えられている。フランスの伝統的な調理法のコンフィは鴨肉をじっくり丁寧にオイルに漬けて火を入れ、実にいい具合に焼かれて皮も身もとっても味わい深く相当美味しい。レンズ豆も良いコンビネーションになっているし、少し鴨に食べ飽きた時に蓮根やカリフラワーのコリッとした食感、甘いりんごが絶妙なアクセントになっている。
かなり気に入ってしまった。
デザートには「紅芋のカタラーナ」が用意されていた。金柑、キウイ、ブルーベリー添えられ、彩りもキレイ。普通カタラーナと言えばプリンの冷たくて硬い感じのものを想像するが、この紅芋カタラーナは柔らか目で予想外。でも味自体はちゃんと美味しい。
そしてコーヒーが酸味は弱めだが苦味等、濃さも含めバランスよく美味しい。
コーヒーが美味しいとその日の食事は嬉しい。
このレストランと言うかホテルはコロナの影響でか、客の姿が見られず、レストランも実は僕ら1組しかこの日は客がいなかった。
これだけ美味しいのだから、もし行くチャンスのある人は是非行ってみてください。
多分色々大変なんじゃないかな。

This is my second visit since I visited the year before last. This time it was 4 people. In fact, everywhere in Karuizawa is so crowded these days that I don't want to wait in line, and it's a pain to make reservations over the phone. Under such circumstances, it is easy to make reservations online, and I liked the food and atmosphere last time. This is Restaurants inside Hotel Marroad Karuizawa, but this time there were only 3 groups of customers in a spacious room. ...Well, as I thought this time too, just because it's not delicious doesn't mean it's not popular, it's a completely hidden gem. Even if you have trouble making a reservation, you can do so with confidence here. Arrived at the hotel at 12:30. The lunch course is a prix fixe menu. Composition of appetizer, soup, main course, dessert, and drink. Lunch at the hotel costs 3,080 yen including tax and service. The price was 2,970 yen the year before last, so the price has increased by 110 yen. I still feel sorry for the cute way of raising prices...the prices are very reasonable. First of all, the appetizer was ``homemade quiche and salad''...I was happy to see that they also added a piece Prosciutto like last time. The quiche is said to be based on marlin tuna. It's a little unusual, but this time too, there are plenty of eggs and the flavor is strong and delicious. The shredded root vegetable salad was crunchy, and the dressing was delicious, so even the texture was delicious. Next up is Jerusalem artichoke soup...it's sweet and has a melty texture. It's delicious and the flavors make the most of the ingredients. Now for the main thing. The two chose the default for lunch: ``Salmon grilled with herb breadcrumbs and marinated Shinshu mushrooms and Amera tomatoes.'' Beautiful arrangement and color. Me and another person paid an extra 800 yen and changed to ``French duck leg confit with seasonal vegetables.'' Menu I've eaten before and liked. ...Served with a slightly sweet Madeira sake-based sauce. It is served with lotus root, potatoes, eggplant, and green vegetables. The confit is made by carefully marinating the duck meat in oil and then cooking it.The skin is delicious, and the meat is rich in flavor. I think it's quite delicious. If you eat lotus root while eating duck, its texture and sweet potato make for an even better combination. For dessert, ``Catalana'' was prepared. Eating cold Catalana will reset the food you have eaten so far. The fried almonds neutralize the cold taste, and the quince sauce that comes with it makes for an interesting change. And I'm a little disappointed that the coffee didn't taste as good as last time. Why? But the overall taste is maintained, so the taste is stable.
