For dinner, I decided to walk and have a drink. I drove around the hotel and to Chino Station in advance to look for shops, but there were almost no shops open on New Year's Day night, so I decided to go to Ginji, a connoisseur, for the first time. . The Chino City Hall store is a new store that will open on December 12, 2022. After entering, I realized that Mr. Ginji, who is a connoisseur, seems to be a Monte Rosa style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that mainly serves Seafood, which is familiar from Shirokiya and others. The location is at the corner of the City Hall West intersection on Prefectural Route 192 City Hall Street from JR Chino Station, and it's a little far from the station, about an 8-minute walk. If you are driving, there is a parking lot in front of the store, and there are quite a few parking spaces next to it. Arrived a little before 7:30pm. The exterior is the first floor of a two-story facility with the second floor next to a vacant house, and it looks like a Seafood Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with signboards, red lanterns, and roadside signs. There are a reasonable number of parking spaces in the parking lot, so drivers who cannot drink will have a hard time. The inside of the restaurant has a Japanese-style interior where you take off your shoes, and the seating is mostly in private rooms, so I don't know how crowded it is, but I was told to wait a little while the restaurant was being cleaned up, so it seems to be almost full. There seems to be a room where you can do Karaoke a kids room. Without waiting too long, you will be guided to a private room with a sunken kotatsu for four people. There is a grill cassette stove on the table. The menu includes not only seafood such as beach grills, tabletop grills, sashimi, and Seafood such as Seafood, Grilled skewer Fried food, skewers, a la carte dishes, and salads, but also a wide variety of meal options such as Noodles, Seafood Bowl, and meat-based rice dishes. There is a wide variety of drinks, and there is an all-you-can-drink option, but this time I will go individually. Orders are placed using a touch panel tablet device. This time, I ordered the hamayaki platter as the main dish, as well as pickled squid, mackerel cutlet, salted cabbage, doteyaki, tamagoyaki, and draft beer. The beer is Kirin, and the otoshi is Chikuzen-style Simmered dish. There was a charge for the pass and year-end and New Year holidays, but it's OK because we're thankful that it's open on New Year's Day. The salted cabbage and Hamayaki platter came out right away, and I lit the cassette stove and started Hamayaki. It's fun to grill scallops, clams, squid, shrimp, and shishamo yourself for two people. The grilled pickled squid overlapped with the grilled squid, but it was ok because it was delicious. The mackerel cutlet, tamagoyaki, and doteyaki were all delicious. I additionally ordered apple sour and garlic Steak rice to finish. Garlic Steak Rice is topped with fried garlic and chewy Steak on a griddle, and is piping hot and satisfying.
