The secret to its popularity is here!! All items are 280 yen Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Bakabond ☆ The menu has been completely renewed!!
Our concept is to let everyone, from young to old, enjoy themselves casually, regardless of age! All items are offered at 280 yen (304 yen including tax) so that you can enjoy it at an affordable pric |
I went there on a weekend night. I had been interested in this place for a long time because it was priced at 280 yen (excluding tax), but it was always crowded and I couldn't get in easily, so I finally managed to come this time. We came as a group of two, but the seats we were shown to were right next to a group... Moreover, the seats seemed to have been made in a hurry, and there was no partition, so it was not comfortable at all. There was also loud music that sounded like an earthquake coming from the other side of the wall (the tenant next door seems to be a club. It's not the store's fault, though...). It was the weekend, so I thought it was inevitable that it would be noisy, but I ordered a Premium Malt black beer first. Now, what should I order for a side dish? Looking at the menu, there are many dishes that look quite busy. It looks like it will be quite promising. Also, except for the first drink, it is done on an iPad, so it may be nice that you don't have to call a staff member. And then the drink is served. Since it's 294 yen for Premium Malt, I thought it would be just a glass, but it was served in a mug that was much larger than I expected. At a normal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), the portion size would be double what you'd expect, so this was a pleasant surprise. The appetizer was cabbage with a ginger-flavored dressing. It was surprisingly tasty. After a while, the side dishes we ordered were served. The mochimen pizza was a volume that you wouldn't expect for 294 yen. It didn't have much depth of flavor, but it was mellow and delicious. I felt like I would be full just from this lol. I ordered a New Half (lol) for my drink. It seems to be a half-and-half Premium Malts. It's easier to drink than just black beer. The next thing served was the Vagabond Original Salad, a salad topped with small shrimp and flying fish roe. The dressing was like aurora sauce. This was also something that could be fully appreciated for 294 yen. Taking advantage of the 294 yen price, we ate and drank a lot of other things (details omitted). The food was generally bland, but considering the cost-performance ratio, I think it's one of the better chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). However, there were other issues besides the food. First of all, the speed of service. At first, the place was empty, so the food was served at a reasonable speed, but as the place got busier, the speed of serving other items besides drinks clearly slowed down. I checked to see if my order had been placed, but there was no response even after waiting 10 minutes. I waited forever for snacks that might never come (I ended up canceling and leaving). The motsu ponzu, which seemed like a speedy menu, came out about 20 minutes after I ordered it (I ordered this before it got busy). The order of the food also came out right away, even though I thought it was a dessert (lol). This seems to be a problem unique to iPad ordering. I wonder if the low prices are being passed on to labor costs? Even though it was the weekend, I got the impression that they were clearly short-staffed. Also, the customer service attitude was a bit... Maybe the employees were tired from dealing with troublesome customers too much? There was no smile, and I felt like I was being treated coldly. The store has a concept. This store's selling point is its low prices. If you want to drink cheaply, I think this is a good place. I think it would be good for a scene where you come with close friends, drink some snacks and talk (and have fun).
