Lunch at Sushidokoro Yasushi Hotaka branch
It was raining, so I decided to go digging. Before that, I decided to take a short detour and have lunch at Sushi Restaurant Yasu. At first I parked my car by the store, but then realized I was somewhere else, so I parked it again on the other side of the road. When I entered the restaurant, I was asked if I wanted to sit at the counter or at a table, so I chose a table seat and sat in a small raised area. After looking at the menu, Kami and I both chose Seafood Bowl. I refused and took a photo, but the food never arrived! Just to be sure, I asked, but my order hadn't gone through. The salad was brought out right away. Apparently you can get refills of the salad, but there was enough to start with. It was delicious with several kinds of soft vegetables and the dressing went well with it. Seafood Bowl used vinegared rice. First, I tried eating three pieces of salmon roe, but they were salty and didn't taste good. So, when Kami-san looked away, I gently put the leaves into Kami-san's bowl. Other fish and shellfish were fresh and delicious. The salmon had no fishy smell and was delicious. The chawanmushi was delicious, but the chicken was very bad. What bothered me was that there was no small plate to put soy sauce on, so I had no choice but to pour it directly from the soy sauce holder. Kami said it was good, but the chawanmushi chicken was bad.

At my daughters' request, we went to Azumino Rhododendron Hot Spring. On the way home, I decided to have dinner and went to Sushi Restaurant Yasu Hotaka Branch. I went there at 5:45 p.m., and the previous customer was in a private room. I was guided to a small raised area. After looking at the menu, Kami and I ordered the Saikyoyaki Yellowtail Gozen, my cousin ordered Seafood Chirashi Gozen, and since my daughter was on a diet, I ordered the Salmon and Scallop Salad with plenty of vegetables. At that time, I asked for permission to take the photo, saying it was for the purpose of writing Tabelog. First, the chawanmushi came out. It had an elegant taste with less sweetness, but the taste of the small pieces of chicken was strange. The salad was fresh and soft. The yellowtail teriyaki was large and fatty, and the rice was cooked just right. The tuna used was not frozen, so it had a nice texture and a lot of flavor. The shrimp were fresh, the miso was delicious, and the flesh was soft and sweet. I gave Tempura to my daughter, and she seemed to like it, but she said it was a hindrance to her diet. My cousin said that her Seafood chirashi gozen was fresh and delicious. My daughter's salmon and scallop salad with plenty of vegetables was a huge amount and I was surprised. The scallops, salmon, tobiko, and whitebait were all fresh and delicious. Moreover, the amount was so large that I had a hard time trying to eat it. There were 4 pieces of salmon and 4 pieces of scallops, so I guess they took care to make sure 4 people ate it. (They gave me 4 serving plates.) It would have been better if there was a tea refill service.
