*Visited in October 2015 I visited for a dinner party. The restaurant is located along a row of apple trees and is a stylish modern Japanese restaurant that looks like it was renovated from an old folk house. The large glass windows facing the street have an impact. The counter seats on the first floor were nice, but this time we were having a dinner with a few people, so we were shown to table seats on the second floor. While enjoying the course meal, we had beer, highballs, and a variety of Japanese sake (lol) ○Red sea bream temari sushi Ankimo The temari sushi was delicious with a weak vinegar and slightly salty taste. Needless to say, I love Ankimono... (lol) ○Okakiage with Kasago and Taro The Kasago is delicious and can be eaten down to the bone with rice Senbei (rice crackers), but I don't know how it goes well with the taro. ○Made with duck in a pot Long onion Turnip Duck is my favorite food, so of course it's delicious, but it goes well with green onions, but it doesn't seem to go well with turnips? (Although it's just my personal preference...) It's an elaborate dish made with red bean paste. ○Amberjack, Bluefin Tuna, Golden Sea Bream All of the sashimi is fresh and delicious. It's a prefecture without a sea, but I wonder if Tsukiji is the place to buy it? ○ Chiyogen Pork Straw Grilled Hoozuki Locally sourced pork has dense meat and is delicious even when eaten with salt. It's been a few years since I've had edible broomstick, and I really enjoyed the taste, which is somewhat similar to fruit tomatoes. ○Holding hairtail with eringi Swordfish has a delicious skin with a fragrant and light taste, but how does it go well with eringi? I feel like pairing it with something a little harder in texture would make the cutlass stand out even more. ○ Mushroom Stir-fried Mushrooms are delicious in autumn, so of course the rice was delicious. ○Sweetness (Matcha Mont Blanc) The matcha and chestnut Mont Blanc cream part and the base (maybe sweet potato?) go together very well, and the simmered chestnut skin adds a nice accent and is exquisite! I think the chef at this restaurant must really love cooking. The variety of Japanese-style meal is creative in terms of presentation and tableware selection...And the restaurant's interior and atmosphere are stylish, making it perfect for a date, right? For an older man like me, this creative Japanese-style meal, while delicious, somehow didn't suit me, and I can't put it into words, but it felt different from the comforting feeling of Japanese-style meal. There is no doubt that the ingredients are carefully selected and the dishes are made with a lot of effort, so I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity in the future. I'm also looking forward to seeing what kind of dishes I'll come across. They have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, but when it comes to shochu, there are an incredible number of brands. Isn't this an irresistible shop for shochu lovers? Thank you for the meal~
