信州三大秘境でジンギスカン
中部遠征で熊伏山に。簡単登山で昼前には下山して遠山郷かぐらの湯に。年初に汲上ポンプの事故があったらしく、沸かし湯での営業、そして温泉内にある食堂も休業中。ジンギスカンを食べようと思っていたのに。ジンギスカンを出す店が確かもう一店あったな、と探そうとするが、何と温泉出た右隣にその店の看板がある。
広めの店でほぼ満員。有名なツーリングコースなのかライダーが多い。グループ組はいく組か待っていたようだが、こちらは１人なのですぐにカウンターに通された。
ジンギスカンWを注文。肉の量がダブル。
肉はマトンで、味付けはソースがベースですが、味噌とニンニクも和えていて、ご飯が進む味です。これジビエで同じことしたらもっと美味しそう、と思いました。長めに焼いているのか食感は硬めですが、お腹いっぱいになれます。キャベツの千切りなど野菜が多めなのもいいですね。
道の駅、温泉、食堂と揃っていて、ツーリング、ドライブの長休憩にちょうど良いスポットです。

We had lunch at this restaurant after climbing Mt. Kumabushi. Next, we headed to Mt. Kuroboshi, but the access road was closed, so we gave up. We changed to Mt. Oku-Chausu, but there were no Restaurants open nearby, so we ended up coming back to this restaurant. After soaking in the hot spring again, we had dinner. We had Genghis Khan (Mutton grilled on a hot plate) for lunch. For dinner, we had Sanzoku-yaki, thinking of something local. The chicken was large and still a little juicy, with a good texture. The garlic and sauce seasoning was effective and made us hungry. It is a mountainous area that is known as a hidden place, so perhaps people prefer strong seasonings. I think it tastes better in winter than in summer. We had both meals here that day. After this, we headed to Shirabiso Pass to climb Mt. Oku-Chausu the next day.
