10数年前に仕事で時々佐世保に行った時期があって、それ以来の久々、それも子供を初めて連れて行くにあたり、当時よく行った店だったので迷わず予約した。
しかし。。。
魚がウリの店なのに、鮮魚が何もない。
メニューには東京ではなかなか食べられないような魚も含め、色々と素敵な料理が並んでいる。
まず、昔はほぼ毎回頼んでいた烏賊の活き造りを頼もうとしたがないとのことで、仕方なく他のモノを頼もうとするが、ウチワエビ、カワハギ、タイ、ヒラス、ヒラメ、しめ鯖と、注文するモノはことごとく無い。
それを一つ一つ言うたびに”ありません”と繰り返す。
せめて、無いものは先にわかるようにするべき。
結果、あったのは鯵だけ。あとはサーモンや蛸など、地物ではなく冷凍できる魚と、普通の人は注文しない高額イセエビだけ。
水槽の裏から大将（らしい）の大声だけが忙しく響くが、内容も特定のベテラン店員に大声で何か言っているだけで、客を気にしてる気配はない。
日本人定員は皆さんノンビリ、2人の外国人バイトだけが表情を強張らせながら反応よく頑張っている感。
結局、食べることが出来たのは、鯵の活き造り、魚のすり身揚げ、冷奴、お新香。
鯵とすり身揚げは美味かったが、この辺りの店ならわざわざ予約をしなくても食べられる。
フラストレーションが溜まるが仕方なく、子供のデザートと自分には酒の追加と焼き豚足を注文。
少ししてデザートの「ささプリン」は瓶のまま出てきた。
焼き豚足は持ってくる気配もないので、待ちきれずにキャンセル。店員を呼んだらまだ4,5分かかる、と。まだ作ってもなかったみたい。
不愉快なままお勘定。
我々がレジに向かうのを店員は見ているが誰も来ない。
2度ほど呼んだら、最初に生簀カウンターの中にいた女将？らしき人が来てレジをしたが、淡々と作業をするだけでメニューが何も無い事に対する詫び類は一切なし。
ここも昔は良かったが、それに胡坐をかいて落ちた店。
鮮魚がウリの店で繁盛しているところは、魚があまりに入らなかった時は予約客に電話してその旨を伝えてくれる店もある。
その日はキャンセルするが、信頼できるから必ず再訪する。
客の都合を無視するような店に先はない。
因みに金額は写真の通り。
が、まともに頼めなかったので参考になる単価ではない。
