長崎県佐世保市は庄屋フードシステムの本社所在地です。このお店は佐世保駅にあり、私はてっきり庄屋フードシステムのお店だと思いましたが、この日本海庄やは大庄グループ(本社所在地：東京都)となり、庄屋フードシステムとは関係がないお店になります。ややこしや～。
【場所】
JR、MR佐世保駅の東口を出て、高架下に南下するとお店はあります。
【店舗、店内】
店内に入り、左側は座敷があります。右側はテーブル席、中央部はカウンター席になっています。
店内はいけすがあり、魚が泳いでいます。当日のおすすめメニューでは、いけすの魚のお造りなどがありました。
【料理】
一般的な居酒屋メニューから、いけすの魚のお造りなど多様なメニューがあります。
今回は、いけすの中からアラカブの姿造り\1400を注文しました。
アラカブはかさごのことで九州ではアラカブと呼ぶそうです。
その他、お新香の盛り合わせを注文しました。
先にお通しが出てきます。鶏肉のシチューのようでした。あとでレシートをみると\432なり。これは高いと思います。
次にお新香の盛り合わせが出てきてつまみつつ、アラカブを待ちます。
アラカブは小さい船に乗って出てきました。
白身ですが、ややこりこりとした歯ごたえがあります。
ポン酢と醤油のどちらかで食べるのですが、九州の醤油は甘すぎて、食べ慣れていない私には合いませんでした。
そのため、ほぼポン酢で美味しくいただきました。
お新香の盛り合わせは出来合いのものですのでノーコメント。
【飲み物】
スパークリング日本酒の澪を注文しました。
さっぱりしていて暑い日でも飲みやすいですね。
【サービス】
店員さんがナイスでした。アラカブという魚がなんなのかわからなかったため、店員さんにお聞きしたら、物まねで答えてくれました。
ただ、その物まねではわからず、結局ベテラン店員さんにお聞きして、ようやくかさごだとわかりました。キュートな店員さんでした。
