奈良の大自然に囲まれた非日常感のある、雰囲気の良いフレンチ料理店。2023年フレンチwest百名店に選出されています。
駅からかなり距離があるので、観光がてら時間に余裕を持って向かうか、タクシーなどで向かうのがおすすめ。明るく日が差し込む店内や、お店の方々の丁寧な接客も魅力です。
今回いただいたのは、特別ランチコース。ふんわりとした食感の鱧のベニエ、あっさりとしたコンソメスープ、ブラックカカオで包んで酒粕に漬け込んだフォアグラのテリーヌを揚げた一品、桃とオリーブオイルのスープといった、美しい前菜でコーススタート。
粘り気のあるおくら、おかひじき、つぶ貝、海ぶどうに、トマトとライムの香りを加えたアミューズに、レタス、アボカド、ピスタチオクリーム、きゅうりのジュレシート、バジルソース、白いかを合わせた一皿と、緑の映える野菜たっぷりの料理が続きます。
スッキリとした風味が嬉しい塩レモンを加えたソース、レモングラスに、甘味のある翡翠茄子のピューレを添えた、ホロホロと柔らかい絶妙な火入れの平目。マデラ酒のソースや、黒ニンニクピューレ、万願寺とうがらしのペーストによってお肉の旨味がグッと際立つ奈良県産郷ポークのソテー。酸味と甘味がバランスよく交わったイチヂクのシャーベットに、ヘーゼルナッツ、シナモン、ハチミツを合わせたスイーツ。お茶菓子のカヌレと、ピスタチオアイスのフレンチトーストまで、様々な食材を贅沢に使用した料理を堪能できました！
