近鉄西大寺の近く、近鉄百貨店に隣接する奈良ファミリーの６階にあります。
昼食には少し遅い２時過ぎに訪ねました。
６階はレストラン街になっています。その中で桃谷楼は入り口から高級感が漂っています。
店内は明かりを落とし気味にしています。
昼食時間も過ぎていて空いていたので、
一番奥の席に案内してもらいました。
そこからはスモークガラスの大きな窓を通して奈良の山並みが見えます。
青葉の頃で天気も良く、平城旧跡の木々の鮮やかな緑、そして遠くの青垣。
その中にくっきりと若草山が見えます。
奈良らしい風景です。陽が当たってとても美しい。
店内が暗いのでまるで一枚の風景画を見るようです。
この風景がとても気に入っています。
だからできるだけ空いた時間に訪れるようにしています。
その風景をつまみにビールを飲んでいると料理が運ばれてきます。
頼んだのは「海の幸のあんかけ焼き麺」。
やわ麺か、かた麺を選択できます。この日はかた麺を選びました。
見た目も味も上品。とても気に入っています。
濃い味ではありませんがしっかりとした味付けです。
海老や帆立、野菜の色合いがとても鮮やかに調理されています。
静かな店内で景色を楽しみながら、美味しい食事。
ゆったりとした気持ちになれるいい店です。
