Fried Skewers restaurant a few minutes walk from JR Nara Station. Is it run by a husband and wife? It's a small shop, but it was pretty good ( ´∀` )b When I went there, it had just opened, so there were no other customers, but the customer service was such that even if you were a lone customer, you wouldn't feel uncomfortable. (^ー^) So this time, I ordered the ``Tipsy Set'' (1400 yen including tax). This is a set of edamame, cabbage, five Fried Skewers, and draft beer. Fried Skewers includes onions, quail, squid, maitake mushrooms, and pork. The onions and mushrooms are perfect, not overcooked, the quail is flaky, and the squid and pork are soft and delicious (^o^) All of them have a thin batter and are lightly oiled. Also, since the sauce is served on a small plate, you can add it twice, which is good for someone like me who is new to Fried Skewers (^ー^) It was delicious, so I also ordered the lemon sour, scallop, and ginkgo Fried Skewers. Ginkgo is a beautiful green color. It's chewy and delicious. I wonder if they use raw scallops instead of boiled ones? It was really delicious (^3^)/ The bill was 2160 yen (maybe 2140 yen?) including tax. I rarely eat Fried Skewers, so I can't compare it to other restaurants, but this restaurant was good (^ー^)
