なら旅2食目、東大寺周辺を歩き周り、二月堂の常夜灯に火が入るまで粘ってホテルにチェックイン。そろそろ20時を過ぎた頃です。

日本酒の美味しいところとして思い浮かぶのは灘や越後、秋田、山形あたりでしょうか。普段私が選ぶのは、山形のお酒かなぁ、出羽桜とか住吉とか…
奈良県のお酒はノーマークでした。
さて、まずは、辛口純米の中から、篠峯をいただきました。辛口らしいスッキリした飲み口、微発泡のようなシャワシャワ感があり旨し。
あては、奈良漬とクリームチーズを合わせた奈良おし、新玉ねぎの天ぷら、桜エビと新生姜のかき揚げ、縞鯵のかま焼きをいただきます。
奈良漬って食べなくなりましたよね。むかしは駅弁などによく添えてあった気がしますが、クリームチーズのも相性いいです。新玉天ぷらはホクホク、ジュワッと甘味と旨みがいいです。やけどにご注意。桜エビと新生姜のかき揚げも初夏の味です。
ここで2杯目、春鹿(ハルシカ)鬼斬とそのまま読むんですね。かっこつけてシュンロク？なんて言ったら、ハルシカなんですなんのひねりもなくてすんませんとやんわり訂正が入りました。
こちらま鬼斬というだけあって辛口+13なかなかのものです。キレがいい。
縞鯵のかま焼きも揃ってうまうま。料理も日本酒との相性もよく大満足。最後は歓喜光を熱燗で。ふくよかな味わい燗酒もいいなあ。旅先で美味しいものに出会えるのは幸せですね。おまけに千葉県の鍋店酒造の不動をお勧めしてきました。地元でお勧めできる日本酒があるっていうのもプライドですからね。ともかく店員さんも雰囲気良く気持ち良く呑めました。ご馳走さまです。また、行きたいと思うお店です。
