A restaurant specializing in Kamameshi in Niigata City
We always have 25 different kinds of Kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot) available, including recommended seasonal Kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot). In addition to Kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot), we al
...so have a wide variety of other dishes, such as banquets and a la carte dishes. Gozu no Yamamoto's kamameshi uses "Koshihikari rice from Niigata Prefecture," which has been carefully selected after years of research. It is a traditional kamameshi, where the rice and ingredients are cooked together. It is characterized by the ingredients and rice being mixed in the middle of cooking, and the cooking time is adjusted according to the type of kamameshi (ingredients), resulting in an outstanding dish in which the delicious flavor spreads evenly throughout the pot. (There is also a menu unique to the Niigata store.)
