新潟弥彦神社に行く目的でその前にランチを頂きに訪問しました。
予定していたお店が休業日で急遽歩いていて見つけたコチラ吉田屋さん。
下調べ無しで伺いましたが、後で調べて元は魚屋さんを営んでいらして
100年を越える老舗店と知りました。
中へ入るとお座敷席のみで案内頂きました。
ランチメニューは沢山ありましたが、ここはやはり郷土料理「わっぱ飯」しかないという事で
「特製わっぱ飯膳」を注文。

10分ぐらいで提供頂きました。
炊き込みご飯の上に塩鮭、イクラ、錦糸卵、青海苔が美しく飾られている。
ご飯は少しベチャっとしていましたが、出汁がきいていて青海苔の香りが良かったです。
具沢山のみそ汁、煮物小鉢、漬物とどれも丁寧に作られていて美味しかったです。
飛び込みで入りましたが当たりでした！
