新潟には、新潟5大ラーメンがあるのを知っていますか？
私は全く知らなかったのですが、新潟は南北にながーい地形にあるため、地形によってタイプの異なるラーメンがあるそう。
新潟あっさり醤油、新潟濃厚味噌、燕三条背脂、長岡生姜醤油、三条カレーラーメンの5大ラーメンだそう。
その中でも一番気になった、燕三条ラーメンを食べに行ってきました。
燕背脂ラーメンの元祖と言われている杭州飯店に行く予定でしたが、お店はすでにクローズ。
別のお店を探していたら、みずさわさんがヒットしたので、こちらに来ました。
休日18時半ごろ訪問。店内は半分ほど埋まっていました。
今回はこちらを注文。
・燕ホワイト
・燕味噌ラーメン
どちらも背脂がたっぷり乗っており、見た目だけでもかなりインパクトがあります。
まずは燕ホワイトを。
背脂に豚骨、でもパイタンのようなあっさりさもある、麺はモチモチの太麺で噛みごたえがあります。
味噌ラーメンの方は焼き野菜を使っているのか、焦がし辣油のような味がしました。
味噌ラーメンの方が好きな感じでした。
