長岡駅大手口から徒歩数分の居酒屋。週末は連日満席です。今回は日曜に電話したところ、満席につき空き次第で案内していただき、20時頃訪問しました。2階の個室に通していただき、少し高級感のある雰囲気の中、主に旬の肴と酒を味わいました。
お通しは1人550円。牡蠣やサザエなどの海鮮小鉢をいくつか持ってきていただき、その中から好きなものを選んで鍋で蒸してから食べました。
料理は玉子焼き、魚料理、肉料理をいただき、どれも美味しかったです。中でも店名に入っているタコは、お造り、唐揚げなどどれも鮮度が良く、身が大きくてプリっとしていて美味しいです。
そして、今回オススメされていた鰹のたたきが絶品でした。他店と比べても身の大きさは最高クラスです。しかも身が締まっていて食感が良く、焼き藁の香りが豊かで日本酒との相性抜群です。
日本酒は新潟県内の銘柄をいくつかいただきまして、特に麒麟山の伝統辛口と笹祝がスッキリとした甘さと口当たりでかなり美味しかったです。
料理の味は間違いなく、長岡駅前で海鮮を食べる際には必ず候補に挙がりますね。ただ、価格がお高めなのと、最近は忙しいからか、サービスが少し雑になってきているようには感じました。
