この日は日帰りで長岡に出張。
長岡･･･といえば思い浮かぶのは小嶋屋のへぎそばですが、真冬に冷たい蕎麦というのもあまり気が進みません。
長岡駅に到着して食べログを検索したところ、駅から徒歩5分くらいの場所に、ランチに坦々麺を食せる人気のお店を見つけました。
昼は坦々麺、夜は焼肉の専門店というよくわからない二面性と、どちらもメニューを絞り込んだ潔さ、なんか行ってみたくなる吸引力を感じるお店です。
坦々麺は普通の坦々麺とトッピングが豊富なスプレッドメンの２種類がありますが、早めのお昼であまりお腹が空いていなかったこともあり、普通の坦々麺のほうを選択。
税込690円ですが、辛さ警戒の温玉トッピングを加えて計790円です。
その坦々麺、見た目はそんなに華やかな感じはなく、旨さがいまいち伝わってこない感もありますが、コクのあるスープにゴマの旨みが効いてなかなか美味。
痺れはほとんど感じず、辛さも控えめのマイルドなテーストですが、細めの麺も食べやすく、上品によくまとまった坦々麺だと思います。
何よりこれを690円で提供しているというのがスゴい。
お一人で営業されながらも接客がとても丁寧で、いいお店だなぁと感じました。
