上越高田駅から徒歩15分くらい日本海の
魚介類を食べさせてくれる割烹・居酒屋。
友人と2人でカウンターに着席。まずは
主役のノドグロ、「良いのが入ってます」
とのことで所望すると、40−50cmの
大型。タグ付きの高級品でビビりつつ
半身ずつ煮と焼でお願いする。
お通し3品の後、刺身、バイ貝(これが
知っていたものとは別物で甘くて美味い)
そしてノドグロ焼き登場、肝も添えて
ある、もちろん美味いしかない、脂の
ある身は焼きで程よく脂を落とし上品な
白身が最高。
その後ドロエビ、名前には引くがこれ
また北陸の珍味香ばしく甘い。天ぷら
の後にノドグロの煮付け魚卵添え。
やっぱノドグロは煮付けが一番。
連れがどうしてもノドグロの刺身も
食いたいと言うので注文、そして
最後はもろきゅうでさっぱりして
ご馳走様。
