I've been interested in a private room with a kids' space at Uomin in front of Joetsu Myoko Station for a while. This time I went with my daughter. (My rowdy eldest son is at home.) There is only one private room with a kids space. It was at the back of the store. The room has double doors and is perfectly insulated from other seats. And the walls are decorated with minions. There are things that children like, such as slides, toys, and picture books. And there's Karaoke! Karaoke is not available at this time to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, but normally if you order a course meal, you can use Karaoke. This would be great for a drinking party with kids! It's a private room, it's spacious, the floor is safe with cushioned mats, and there are toys, so I was able to eat comfortably that day without having to worry about the kids. This is a newly opened Uomin in front of the west exit of Joetsu-Myoko Station. Tonight, no, I'm drinking Lonely tonight too. However, I don't have any intention of drinking that much today, so I thought I'd just eat a decent amount and get a little drunk. It's been a while since I've been to a chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). The lone oiler was guided to a counter seat by the window. The window side overlooks the foothills of Mt. Myoko and Mt. I decided to look at the menu until the offal hotpot arrived. I've always thought that major Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) put a lot of thought into their menus. There's also something like Russian roulette Sushi (lol). It would be fun to do this with 5 or 6 people. Now, the offal hot pot has arrived! Light the fire and make sure it is fully cooked before eating. It's a pretty good serving. I was prepared for the possibility of "too many vegetables and too little offal!", but the balance of vegetables and offal was good. First, take a bite of offal. The sweet fat of offal is irresistible! (≧▽≦) After eating offal, try some cabbage to refresh your mouth. It's nice to have plenty of vegetables, too. Then, leave the soup and add the noodles. There's no way this soup wouldn't be delicious with the umami of the vegetables and the fat of the offal, mixed with noodles. It's delicious. Other than the appetizer, the only food I had was this Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), but I was satisfied. Drinks include a highball and refreshing oolong tea. Now, the bill will be less than 2,000 yen. When I thought about it, the charge (charge fee) was surprisingly 396 yen, so it was 2,106 yen. (^^;) However, it was almost 2,000 yen.
