Tonight, I am eating here in Shibata City with eight fellow volunteers. I felt safe knowing that the restaurant was taking ample precautions against COVID-19. This is a lovely restaurant located in a corner of Shimizu-en, originally the garden of the lord of Shibata Domain. Upon entering the restaurant, we immediately disinfected ourselves with alcohol, and there was a partition at the table where we sat, so we didn't get too crowded. A friend from Niigata had pre-ordered food and all-you-can-drink for 5,000 yen, and the details are as follows: [b:"Appetizer"]・・・・・[b:Vinegared mozuku seaweed], [b:Tomato and orange juice and mozzarella cheese], [b:Potato salad and crackers], [b:Edamame], [b: Prosciutto salad], [b:Smoked salmon carpaccio] I wasn't expecting much since it was 5,000 yen including all-you-can-drink, but I was relieved to have just eaten this appetizer. [b:"Seafood paella"]・・・・It's not bad, I'm surprised that it's paella, my friend introduced me to a good restaurant. [b:"Three kinds of fried food"]・・・・・[b:Asparagus wrapped in meat], [b:Kurumafu cutlet], [b:Camembert], Shibata City is famous for kurumafu, it was delicious so let's buy some as a souvenir. [b:"Seisen Junmai Ginjo Nanadaime Nama Chozo"]...I don't really like Niigata sake, but this sake had a strong flavor and was sharp.
