＜ふぐ＞と言えば下関、と連想するけど、
下関のふぐのほとんどが大分で水揚げされたものだそうだ。
大分県臼杵市はふぐの町。駅の看板もふぐだったりする。
養殖は一切使わず、天然の豊後水道産のみを使用。
ほり川母家は比較的新しい感じの一軒家。
山田屋さんなどに比べると重厚感はないけれども、地元では2番目にオススメなふぐ料亭だそうです。
臼杵は唯一、＜ふぐの肝＞を食べられる場所でもある。
一度この肝を食べてしまうと、、、普通のふぐでは物足りない。
ポン酢にたっぷりの肝をとき、薬味を入れる。
薄切りし過ぎていない、歯ごたえのしっかりしたふぐ刺しを
どーっとお箸で引き寄せる。
至福のひととき。。
ふぐ刺し・唐揚げ・てっちり・白子焼き・雑炊・水菓子で15,000円は東京の1/3のお値段。
ただ、唐揚げなどはやっぱり山田屋さんが上かな～。。
