真夏にふぐ？？
そんなのあり？？
いやいや、あるんです！
と、友人に聞き訪れたのが「ほり川母屋」
大分空港から高速に乗り、途中のSAから予約の電話。
10500円のコースを人数分お願いしました。
メインの通りから細い小道を入ったロケーションで一回通り過ぎてしまいましたが、
無事重厚な外観のお店に到着。
旧家を改造して営業している。そんな感じのお店です。
車を駐車場に入れていると、感じのいい仲居さんがお出迎えしてくれました。
お店の中も、なかなか重厚な感じで好印象です。
料理のお値段なりの建物。と言った感じでしょうか。
個室からはお庭が臨めなかなかいい雰囲気。
さて、お料理。
本格的ふぐなんてそんなに口にしたことがないので、稚拙な表現になってしまいますが「うまい」です。
ふぐさしの量も都会のふぐ店から考えると「すごい量」です。
ここは大分県、もちろん「キモ」も食せます。
初めてふぐの「キモ」なるものを食した小生には比較の対象がありませんが、
夏場だからでしょうか？この「キモ」が少々生臭かったのが唯一のマイナスポイント。
ふぐちりはふぐのお出汁がよく出て、大変美味しかったです。
仲居さん曰く、夏も美味しいですがやっぱり秋から冬にかけての方が...

間もなくふぐの季節になりますねぇ、
再訪して旬のふぐを食したいものです。
