福岡からいらっしゃった先生と伺いました。岡山で他県からのお客様をもてなすのは至難の業です。特に福岡や北海道の方なんて、口が肥えているので気を遣います。
始めは瓶ビールで乾杯して突出しを頂きます。この日の突出しは、揚げ出しナス。出汁の風味がとても上品で、期待が高まります。
続いて、蛸の薄造り、白子ポン酢、サワラの造りなどをアテに日本酒を頂きました。お酒のセレクションは地元岡山の物が中心ですが、僕の好きな鳳凰美田(栃木)などもあり好印象です。
今回は頼みませんでしたが、メニューを見ると肉系やおでんなどもあり、1人でも楽しめそうでした。
