岡山県倉敷市の美観地区にある和食料理店です。
店名のとおり、「ままかり」という瀬戸内特産の青魚を使った郷土料理のお店です。
白壁造りの古民家風の建物で中庭などもありとても雰囲気の良いお店です。
敷居が高そうですが、お昼のランチには2000円前後の定食があります。せっかく倉敷に観光で来たのなら食べてみる価値ありです。
ままかり定食は、ままかり尽くしをいただけます。小鉢や刺身さらに締めのままかり寿司と、なかなかの豪華な定食です。青魚ですので、イワシのような独特の臭みがありそうですが、こちらのものはまったく臭みがありません！鮮度が良いのでしょうね。ままかり寿司は絶品です！！
ままかりは、「まま＝ご飯」を「借りる」ほど美味だということが名前の由来だそうです。こちらの料理をいただくと、確かにその通りだと思いますね。
