Okinawan Cuisine and organic vegetables grown in-house. Cheers with the perfect local alcohol! Enjoy a delicious time in a wooden restaurant.
It is a Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with a yellow exterior that is located on the sea side of one street from Route 58. Starting with the counter seats made of Ryukyu pine, the restaurant has a warm |
Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is located in Higashie, Nago City, one street behind the main street. The island's ingredients and Local Cuisine classics are easy to get used to, making it a comfortable place to eat. The daily menu, which changes based on the catch of the owner, who loves fishing, is also popular. ~~ ... I found out later that the owner is quite fond of fishing, and the menu of fish he fillets and serves changes daily. [b:・Sashimi platter] Apparently, fish are caught right near the restaurant, but the fishing grounds are unconfirmed. The white meat and skin are beautifully prepared. When you eat them side by side, you can feel the difference in elasticity and sweetness of the meat. I forgot the unit price, but the presentation is good, so I recommend it. [b:・Haikei 600 yen] Chickens that no longer lay eggs are called haikei (abandoned chickens). This is chicken chunks stir-fried with vegetables and miso. The meat is firm rather than tough, and is perfect for miso sauce. It was a dish name I hadn't heard of, but it was my favorite dish of the day. [b:・Island pork guts sashimi 680 yen] Pale pink fillets with a chewy and elastic boiled style. It's not unpleasant, and when you chew it, you can feel the fat, and it has a lingering taste. So we all had fun drinking awamori. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but the food was delicious and reasonably priced, so it was definitely a place not to be underestimated.
