We visited the restaurant in person, as we were told that reservations were not accepted for lunch. We were lucky to be shown to the counter just as two seats became available, and the restaurant was almost always full. I was a bit nervous to be shown to my seat due to the location, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice, and the staff is very attentive and friendly, even the artisan who talks to you over the counter. As a restaurant of Tosa cuisine and O Sushi, I frequently heard orders for the bonito tataki set, but after some hesitation, I decided on the "Nigiri-zushi Saori Gozen," which is only available on weekends and holidays. It is a gorgeous lunch with 7 rolls of o Sushi, 3 kinds of Small dish, 5 kinds of Tempura, red miso soup and chawanmushi (steamed egg custard). The ingredients in the o Sushi were thick but cut in such a way that they were easy to eat, the o Sushi eggs were not too sweet, which I don't like, but the soup stock was exquisitely seasoned, and the red miso soup was full of ingredients and had a nice mitsuba accent, which was just the way I like it. The restaurant's location in Kitashinchi makes it a bit expensive at night, but I got the impression that lunch was very reasonably priced. Next time, I would like to enjoy Tosa cuisine at a leisurely pace.
