ChefHideto Takeda - A gourmet explorer fascinated by skewers
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1975, Takeda began working part-time at a yakitori restaurant while attending university. He then spent his days honing his skills at a yakitori restaurant in Saga Prefecture. He returned to Osaka at the age of 23 and opened "Sumibi Yakitori Karagarasu" in 1995. Utilizing the skills and talent he had cultivated, he opened "Yakitori Ichimatsu" in Dojima in 2007. He later reopened in his current location in Kitashinchi. Many gourmets come from afar to taste Takeda's skewers, which are made with honesty and sincerity, and are made with the ingredients they use.

Beyond the noren curtain painted with a pine tree is a neat space with a black base. The elegant setting is reminiscent of a Japanese Cuisine, and makes you stand up straight. There are eight seats at the L-shaped counter in the center. From any seat, you can see the owner intently preparing the yakitori and feel the rich aroma of the charcoal fire. There is also a semi-private room for four at the back of the restaurant, which is another attraction as it can be used for a wide range of occasions, such as entertaining guests or special occasions.
