私も連れも鴨が好きなので、前から気になっていたオペレッタ52さん
鴨が食べたい、餃子も食べたいと言うことで当日に予約して伺った
店内はかなりおしゃれな雰囲気で、カップルシートの半個室が３つあるのでデート向きだ
まずは前菜盛り合わせとスパークリングワインで乾杯
盛り合わせの内容はピクルス、塩サバのスモークマスタード風味、生ハムとサラミ、鴨のスコッチエッグ、鴨肉のパテ、鴨の燻製入りポテトサラダであった
どれを食べても大変美味しい
特にスコッチエッグは揚げたてのサクサク感と鴨の旨み、卵の柔らかさのバランスがいい
せっかくスパークリングワインを注文したので餃子はシャンパン餃子からいただいた
鴨肉100%のため鴨の旨みが強いのに加え、ハーブの香りが良く、おしゃれな餃子だ
スパークリングワインとの相性もいい
大和鴨と合鴨の食べ比べも写真を撮りたくなるおしゃれで色鮮やかな盛り付け
どちらも美味しくて甲乙つけ難い
しっとりとした肉にあっさりな脂がいいか、弾力のある肉に旨み強めの脂がいいか、食べ比べてみるとこうも違うのかと新しい学びであった
鴨の4種盛り合わせを注文したところ、4種のうち1種は先ほどの食べ比べのものと同じだが構わないかと確認が入った
盛り合わせだと冷菜で、食べ比べだと温菜という違いもあるらしく、もちろん構わないということで注文
生ハム、パストラミ、赤ワイン醤油とどれも鴨の旨みを存分に味わえる
鴨好きにはたまらない
名物の餃子は白赤ミックス鴨餃子で両方食べ比べしながらいただく
シンプルに鴨の旨みを味わう白も良し、八丁味噌やラー油のパンチが効いた赤も良し
私は酒飲みであり、濃いめの味付けが好きなので、どちらかといえば赤に軍配を上げた
初めて食べる鴨ハンバーグは肉汁たっぷりでそれはそれは贅沢なメインである
同時に定番のメインである鴨のコンフィはほろりと柔らかな肉が最高だった
存分に鴨肉を堪能したので最後にチーズパリパリとカナッペ明太子バターを〆としていただく
このチーズパリパリがダークホースである
餃子の皮に包まれたとろっと濃厚なチーズという定番おつまみではあるが、トリュフオイルのいい香りが素晴らしい
これだけでさらにいっぱい飲めるレベルのいいつまみである
そしてカナッペも明太子バターだけでなくきざみ海苔が乗っていることで磯の香りがプラスされ、おしゃれな料理の最後に落ち着く味であった
これだけ食べてもまだまだ魅力的なメニューが残っていた
