堂島上通りと堂島船大工通りを東に進み、御堂筋の手前にある南北につなぐ路地にあります。
結構分かりづらいところです。
こちらのランチ、職人(料理人)さんが二人と年配の女性が一人で運営されています。
夜の仕込み中であることがモロに分かります。
カウンターに洗った白いタオルが並べて干してありました。(カウンターの写真を撮っているとあわてて片付けていましたが…)
店内をもう一枚撮ったところで「写真の撮影は遠慮してください」と言われました。
というわけで、お料理の写真はありません。
オーダーはにぎり寿司1人半(1.5人前)です。
まず茶碗蒸しです。「熱いので気を付けてください」と言われました。確かに熱々です。少しボリュームは少ないですが、とても美味しいです。これは北新地でもちょっとしたものです。
つづいて玉ねぎのお吸い物。新玉ねぎを薄くスライスしたものでしょうか…。美味しいのは美味しいのですが…お椀の淵に玉ねぎの具材の端がこびりついています。なんか「やっつけ仕事」みたいに感じてしまいます。
にぎり寿司はにぎり10貫、かっぱ巻き2つ。シャリ(酢飯)は美味しいのですが、ネタのお味は標準です。シャリの握りの甘いものが2貫あり、ムラサキ(お醤油)をつけようと箸でつまむと崩れそうになりました。
全体的には「ランチを提供する」ということに対する考え方が少し甘い(粗い)ように感じました。
お客さんが座るカウンター周りの整理整頓や提供するお料理の体裁を整えるのは基本中の基本ですよね。都合の悪いことには禁止して目を向けさせない、というように受け取られかねないですよ。
夜は美味しいのでしょうが…、行く気はあまりありません。
