I had lunch alone today. The other day, when I went to a restaurant in the Kitahama Securities Building for lunch, I was left with the impression that it was a nice Chinese restaurant, so I decided to have lunch alone at this restaurant today. It feels more like a Chinese restaurant for banquets than a Chinese restaurant in the city. If anything, it seems like a store that shows its true value at night. However, it is not fun to eat lunch at a restaurant that dares to say so. I looked at the menu in front of the restaurant without any preparation. Hmm... My eyes hurt from having one (lol) Well, it's not a particularly unusual menu, it's more of an orthodox menu. Maybe Dim sum set meal would be the restaurant's best bet... but I decided! Let's make Seafood lettuce fried rice. I feel like fried rice today. When you enter the restaurant, a Chinese-looking staff member will guide you to a table in the back if you are alone. I thought I would be allowed to sit alone at a table, but it turned out to be a round table. (^◇^;) I see, it's a table for single customers only. I feel like this is a culture unique to China. I like the round table atmosphere, but there's something odd about everyone sitting alone. It's like a group of people sitting at a round table who aren't excited at a banquet (lol) Well, aside from that, it's time to order. `` Seafood lettuce fried rice, please!'' ``Yes, Seafood lettuce fried rice.'' After a while, the waiter came back. Did you have something? "Excuse me, but it's not Seafood lettuce fried rice, it's shrimp lettuce fried rice, right?" Huh? Oh, really! (Laughs) I made a mistake. Double check failed (^◇^;) Well, shrimp and Seafood are the same (lol) Once again, today's order. Shrimp lettuce fried rice set 980 yen The shrimp lettuce fried rice was served for a while, but then there was shrimp lettuce fried rice, Chinese egg soup, fried chicken, and something like spicy pressed vegetables. This is 980 yen. Considering the prime location of the Kitahama Securities Building, the cost performance is pretty good. Let's start with the soup. Yes, it's a familiar taste that only comes from a stable Chinese restaurant. And I'm going to have lettuce fried rice. If anything, it's a moist type. But it's not a sticky type, it has an elegant moist feel. In terms of genre, it might be fried rice from a high-end Chinese restaurant. It's not the fried rice you get at Ramen restaurant, and it's also different from the fried rice you get at a Chinese restaurant in town. Delicious fried rice. The shrimp are plump and delicious. It would be great if it had some real spice, but I wonder if it's made specifically for Japanese people? There's no need to worry about that (lol) What really impressed me was the spicy pressed vegetables provided. It was quite delicious! It might be best to eat this with white rice. I wanted to get a second helping if possible (lol) Maybe it's a store that specializes in one-of-a-kind items. I wonder if the fried chicken is seasoned for Japanese people. I thought it was interesting that even though they had Chinese staff, they were particular about creating flavors for Japanese people. The store was clean and comfortable. It was a shame that the group of 6 solo guests sitting at the round table didn't have any conversation until the end (lol), but the meal was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
