I visited here for my first lunch of the new year with a friend. It was lunch on a holiday, but there were only two groups there, so I was able to relax and feel like I was in a private room. I asked for a pairing with the lunch course of 8,000 yen. Since it was New Year's, the champagne on this day was rosé. •Consommé, rice •Foie gras, white miso •Shrimp sweet potato, curry •Pomegranate, eggplant •Truffle, carbonara •Chinese cabbage, vermouth •Apple, pumpkin •Loach fish, saffron •Jasmine, cherry Is the first loach flan a standard menu item? All of them are playful and ingenious, making you feel excited about the next dish! The portions of each dish were small and the pasta was just the right amount. The pasta was quite rich, so I might not be able to eat a lot of it... The Nodoguro rice had a strong smell and I didn't like it... The desserts were a little low quality for an innovative genre. It was great that the service and pairing were accommodating on a case-by-case basis! I wanted to meet the chef on his return, but it seems he won't be able to come to see me off.
