I searched for a Gelato place to have lunch and cool off from the unseasonable sun. I didn't want to go back to the Umeda area on the weekend, so I headed for this place. The tables inside the store were full, and there were a few people waiting. We both ordered the anniversary Venice, as well as Amaretto and Pina Colada, and also Pistachio and Ruby Chocolate. The Venice and Ruby Chocolate were an extra 100 yen, and the Pistachio was an extra 200 yen. I was looking forward to it, even though it was a little pricey. Gelato here has a higher milk fat content than I've ever experienced before, and is not too sweet. It seemed to be different from the taste of Gelato specialty shops in general. I like a lot of local specialty shops, so hmm. The pistachio is definitely pistachio, but it's somehow different. It's also different from the dolce that is a regular at Tabelog 's 100 Best Italian Restaurants, so hmm. The location is perfect, near Utsubo Park. At least I was able to sit on a chair outside the store. I found a good bakery afterwards, so it turned out all right for me.
