In early December, I visited him for the first time in a year for a drinking party with colleagues from my former company (we're about the same age apart as father and son). I've been to Tai no Tai several times at the Namba branch, and when I think of Tai no Tai, I'm left with the aged fish sashimi, salmon roe, and seafood with egg over Seafood. The Namba store has long since moved to the Shinsaibashi area, but I learned that they had expanded to Tennoji as well, so I decided to visit. Also, this store is open from 12:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. So, at 12:30, I made a reservation (just in case) and headed to the store. The store is located along Abenosuji, right next to Abenobashi Subway Station. Located on the first floor of a building, the frontage is not wide, but it is deep and has a capacity of 60 seats, according to information from the store. Even though it was a holiday, there were few customers during the afternoon hours. So I was able to calm down and rekindle old friendships. First of all, I ordered the lemon sour (493 yen) and checked the menu while picking at the appetizer (438 yen). My first order was a sashimi platter (1,316 yen) that included aged fish, and a potato salad (548 yen). When it comes to sea bream, you can't miss the sashimi filled with aged fish. I was aware of aged meat, but this was the first time I had aged fish at Namba's sea bream. Is it richer than normal succulent and pale sashimi? The finished product is sashimi that has a delicious flavor, and you can enjoy a taste that is a little different from the sashimi you are used to. After the sour, it's sake. Tai no Tai-san has a pretty good selection of sake, and it seems that even sake connoisseurs and my companions were served sake that they were unfamiliar with. So, I ordered Meijin Junmai Daiginjo (1,098 yen/1 cup). For my meal, I ordered the Healthy Tofu Salad (1,099 yen), which was recommended by the restaurant. Meijin is an idiot. It is a soft and pleasant sake that you can drink as much as you want, like Jozenjosui. The healthy tofu salad was packed with herbs and vegetables from Kajitani Farm in Hiroshima Prefecture, and the color of the tofu and cherry tomatoes was vibrant. After finishing the Meijin with a nice sip, I ordered the Houou Mita Hatsushibori Junmai Ginjo (1,536 yen). It's quite expensive, but I drank it easily. and! A must-try dish at Tai no Tai-san is the ``Salmon roe and Seafood egg-cooked rice (1,648 yen)''. It was quite large for a finishing dish, but we didn't have to worry, the two of us shared it. Sashimi is hidden beneath the salmon roe topped with yolk. This sea bream is a must-try. Both Seafood and sake are a bit pricey, but you can't go wrong with this restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
