10 minutes walk from JR Tamatsukuri Station to Tamatsukuri Subway Station Approx. 15 minutes walk from Tanimachi Rokuchome Station on the Tanimachi Subway Line Head north on Nagahori Dori and Karahoricho intersection (go up the slope) and you will see a Family Mart ahead on your left. Turn left at the next corner after Family Mart and it is the third house on your right. Look for it in the white storehouse-style house with a front yard and lattice door. There is no sign or nameplate, and "Nagahori" is written on the frosted glass window on the second floor, but it may be hard to see at night. 470 meters from Tamatsukuri. |

A weekend drinker in Tamazukuri... Today, I went to Nagahori in Tamazukuri, which was recommended by a drinking buddy and featured in BRUTUS's "Traveling Japanese Bars" for lunch! First, I started with shochu and soda with lemon! For the side dishes, [Delicious boiled water eggplant] A whole water eggplant! The flavor is just right and makes a great side dish to go with your drink. [Sashimi shrimp] Large yellowtail button shrimp with a soft texture that is delicious! [Crab miso Croquette] When you put the hot crab miso Croquette in your mouth, it melts in your mouth and the taste of crab miso spreads. [Homemade tuna and broad bean salad] Homemade tuna on top of the salad. The salad makes a great snack. The delicious side dishes made me want to drink more, so I had some lunch: ・Hiroki ・Isojiman ・Jiko ・Mimurosugi. I also wanted to try the specialty, fresh hairy crab jelly, but it would be difficult to eat alone, so next time I'd like to go with a group of people.
