Business trip to Osaka ❻ Work ends in Umeda in the evening! From here, it's time for private time. Checked in at a hotel in Umeda and moved to Higashi Mikuni. On this day, I was supposed to meet two of my classmates from university, and we decided to go to this restaurant that they (incidentally, the president of the company) frequent. By the way, I went to university in Kobe. It's a restaurant with an indescribable atmosphere, located in a residential area, a 2-minute walk from Higashi-Mikuni Station on the Midosuji Line, and a 6-minute walk from Shin-Osaka. Since I was late in making my plans, the table was full and I ended up sitting at the counter. ◆Alcohol We toasted with draft beer first, but for the second drink, me and the other person switched to shochu. Drink Kagoshima's sweet potato shochu called "Tiger and Dragon". The president was drinking some kind of sake. This store has a wide selection of Japanese sake and wine. ◆It was a cooking course. They explain the dishes properly, but they are quite elaborate and use relatively minor ingredients, so it's impossible to memorize them! All the items were perfect as snacks to go with alcohol. There were quite a lot of items, but I didn't get tired of them and enjoyed them till the end. I thought this was a restaurant that could be used for small entertainment and would be a place where women would be welcome. It's been 4 years since I met the president, and I haven't seen the other guy in about 20 years, so we never run out of things to talk about. Although both of them are reaching retirement age, I'm glad that they are both doing so well! Thank you for the meal! ! (The president paid the bill tonight.)
