I went to a tempura restaurant that recently opened near Miyakojima Station. (I don't know what it's like when I go to a restaurant for the first time, so I always make reservations before I visit.) It's close to the station, but it's hard to find unless you're a local. I thought about ordering it as a single item, but it seemed like there was a course as well, so I decided on the 4,500 yen course. (Courses start from around 3,000 yen) When it's your first time at a restaurant, you don't know what to order, so it's easy to leave everything to selection. I think it was sashimi, seasonal dishes, tempura (about 10 types), Ochazuke(boiled rice with tea)... The portion was large and I had alcohol, so I was a little hungry, but since I don't usually eat tempura, I was satisfied with what I had. The sashimi is delicious and I feel that each dish is made with care. At this time, we were the only ones there, so we had a little chat. He said he is still thinking about the courses, and is thinking of courses that are easy to order for those who want to drink or eat a little. (I think having such a menu would make it easier for women and people with limited appetites to go there.) The restaurant has not decided on regular holidays yet, and they are monitoring the situation in the area. There was a couple working at this shop, and they were very kind. It's a shop with a homely atmosphere, and as a local, I would like to support it. Next time, I would like to go there with my family. (There are table seats, but the main seats are counter seats. I heard you said there was also a second floor...) Thank you for the meal!
