This is a creative Japanese-style meal restaurant in Nikko City that I could only find on Google. We decided to stay overnight, including breakfast, and continued on our way. After enjoying the Yomeimon gate of Nikko Toshogu Shrine and soaking in the hot springs, we searched for a place to eat dinner. But! After all, Nikko came all the way. When I searched for Yuba cuisine, I found that all the restaurants were only open for lunch! ︎ I thought it was open at night, but it's open until 6pm. Meanwhile, I finally found a store called Shiori. Moreover, it has good reviews and is open from 18:30 to 22:00 at night. Some people commented that the meal comes with yuba dishes. Alright, here it is!! ︎ I decided to arrive around 18:20. There was a customer in the store, so I went in and asked, ``Are you a customer with a reservation?''...I was shocked. I didn't have a reservation, but...I was guided straight to my seat and entered the restaurant without any problems. When I looked at the menu to order, it felt like I was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), with only a la carte dishes. that? There, a man different from the lady who showed me around asked me, ``Are you ready?'' Do you have something like a set meal? When I took the plunge and asked him about it, he said, ``We do it for lunch, but there aren't many customers right now, so I'll see if we can do it.'' And to my surprise, he brought me the lunch menu. Then, I ordered Steak Ju from the Yui set, and my partner ordered the ginger-grilled pork from the Tsune set. The course menu starts with pickled burdock and Fukujinzuke, tofu and shimeji mushrooms with spinach, raw tofu sashimi, and Simmered dish tofu? , Steak ju, miso soup with mushroom mushrooms and mitsuba leaves. Mandarin orange sorbet for dessert. All of these are carefully seasoned and truly delicious. It makes full use of the flavor of the yuba and has a slightly sweet aroma. The main course, Steak, was made with grilled green onions spread over rice, which brought out the sweetness of the green onions, and topped with medium-rare sirloin on top. This is exquisite!! ︎ It was a menu that satisfied both mind and body. I am really grateful to the store staff for responding to my request even though I was being selfish. Thank you for the meal.
