We were in Sakai City and we started talking about what to have for dinner. It's not often that I get a chance to eat dinner in Sakai, so I was researching to see if there was a good restaurant here, and this one caught my eye. The decisive reason is not only that it's Mexican, but also that the restaurant name has the word "Mole" in it. That's because, although there are some Mexican restaurants in Osaka, there aren't many that serve mole. Mole is a dish with a sauce made from cacao. I secretly tasted it many times at the restaurant where I used to work part-time, and I couldn't forget the taste that no other dish had, and I feel like this day has finally arrived. Of course, we also had the tacos mentioned in the restaurant's name. ``Tacos al pastor'' wrapped with seasoned meat. Every time I eat tacos, I want to go to Mexico and eat all the authentic tacos. In addition to ceviche, we also ordered Seafood soup. Mexican Cuisine also uses a lot of coriander. And, perhaps surprisingly, they also eat octopus. Is it the influence of Spain? Pulpo a la Mexicana is a dish where octopus is the star of the show. I often go to eat Southeast Asian food, but there is shrimp but not octopus. That's why I liked the spicy and spicy octopus dish. And mole. This sauce has so much cocoa flavor that I didn't want to leave a drop of it behind. I didn't know whether there was a difference in the taste from the one I had before, or not, and while I felt nostalgic, I also felt happy to have a "new taste" for the first time in a while.
