江坂駅の東側にある寿司を中心に居酒屋メニューを楽しむといった感じのお店です。２階に店舗があるため店内の様子をうかがうことができず、少し不安になりますが、中に入ると明るい店内で清潔感もあり奥行きも広く、掘りごたつの座敷でゆったりと食事をすることができました。
最初にお寿司はぜひとも食べたいメニューでしたのでにぎり盛りを注文して他のメニューをオーダーしながらスタート。９貫で９８０円はリーズナブルながら白身の魚に昆布締めが使われていたようにも感じられ、たこはヅメでいただくなどのこだわりも感じられます。単価的には標準程度といったところでしょうか。お造りも１０００円ほどで盛り合わせがあり、季節を感じさせるカンパチをはじめ、甘エビ、タコなど値段相応の内容と味わいでした。
中盤では、なぜか揚げ物ばかりを注文してしまいましたが、ここでもありました「ごぼうのから揚げ」。旨いもん遠上やなごみ家でいただいて以来、メニューにあれば必ずといっていいほど注文してしまうマイブームの一品。大きめに切ってあるゴボウをゴリゴリと噛み砕いていくと特有のアクが感じられ、好きな人にはたまらない１品です。おこぜの唐揚も９８０円という安さ。さすがに身は４切れと恐らく半身程度のボリュームと控えめですが、骨も揚げて添えられておりました。ゴーヤのおひたしや蓮根饅頭に使われていたあんかけ系のメニューもいただいてみましたが、おだしの効いたおひたしやあんかけは美味しく体にすっと入っていく旨さでした。
終盤の締めで再度寿司をオーダー。握り盛りよりもこぼれるイクラが豪快なイクラはよかったのですが、調子にのって２貫で５００円ほどのアワビも注文してみたところ、さすがにトコブシサイズ。ただ安いので文句は言えません。食感のみを楽しむといった感じでフィニッシュ。
日曜日に訪れたのでホットペッパーでの割り引きクーポンを利用したお陰で利用で２割引きに。家族４人が結構食べたなあと思いながらも１００００円ちょっと。序盤の寿司である程度の満腹感を得ることができた効果もあってか１人あたり３０００円を切る値段は非常にリーズナブルなお店でした。
