[2 minutes from Saga Station, parking available] Enjoy Japanese cuisine made with seasonal produce and carefully selected local sake. Great for both solo travelers and groups.
Japanese Cuisine Mineya" is impressive with its single-panel counter seating. Fresh fish and vegetables from Kyushu, "Imari Beef", "Kinsei Saga Pork" and other carefully selected ingredients are serve |
We visited on a holiday evening. There are counter seats and tables, but since there were only two of us, we relaxed at the counter. There is a regular menu and a limited-time menu, and the sashimi and other dishes change frequently. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the grilled sawara came with Ariake nori seaweed, which we were asked to wrap and eat, and it was very delicious. Before ordering the fried burdock, I thought it would be crispy shredded like goboten, but it was thick and fluffy. The rolled omelette was also consistently delicious, and we even enjoyed Ochazuke(boiled rice with tea)at the end. It's close to the station and easy to access, and although it's not a hidden gem, the interior has a nice, adult atmosphere. I would like to visit again.
