*160228 A local Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in the downtown area near Karatsu Station. Since it was a Sunday night, the customers were my friends and a group of young locals having what seemed to be a wedding after-party. The first floor of the restaurant has counter seating and a tatami room, and there seems to be a banquet hall on the second floor. The menu is Family restaurant Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) with all the usual Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), as well as udon, fried rice, curry, and more. Since it was my first time there, I asked for a recommendation and was told "skewers," so I started off with the restaurant's recommended "Tipsy Set (1,000 yen)." Medium draft beer, three skewers of yakitori, and two Small dish. To be honest, the taste was nothing special, but the prices were reasonable and it seemed to be a local Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that was widely loved by locals.
