I met up with a friend from Osaka on the express train and came to Takeo Onsen. Of course, we went to the hot springs, but we were also going to catch the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen, so we didn't want to become Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) refugees, so we made a reservation for this restaurant about a month in advance, and it was a good decision. When we entered the restaurant, we were asked if we had a reservation, and it seemed like it was almost impossible to get in without one. There seemed to be seats available, but maybe it was because of the cooking? I usually prefer to eat and drink alone, because I can't concentrate on the taste. On this day, I was engrossed in talking with a friend I hadn't seen in a while, and I gulped down beer and sake, so the food seemed to be secondary... But, Tempura in season was especially delicious! The guy at SAGABAR, where we stopped for lunch, also recommended it, saying it was delicious. I'd like to stop by again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal♪
