I was somehow aware of its existence, but I avoided it because the lunch prices were high and it seemed a bit too expensive for me. I've intentionally cut back on eating out, so I thought it would be worth spending a thousand yen every now and then, so this was my long-awaited first visit during lunchtime on a weekday. As more and more customers came in, I was shown to a counter seat and immediately browsed through the lunch menu. What immediately caught my eye was the nigiri sushi set for ¥1,050 (excluding tax), which also comes with Shinshu soba or Sanuki udon and a salad. Yoshi! Today I was in the mood for soba noodles, and I ordered the Shinshu soba (cold) nigiri sushi set. The wait was over 12 minutes, the nigiri sushi looked more delicious than I expected, and the soba noodles were authentic, both of which were absolutely delicious! Tuna, squid, white meat, shrimp, egg, and the most interesting of all, the red meat, which is thick and has a color reminiscent of bluefin tuna. I feel the level is high. I take a bite of the soba noodles, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! This is also authentic Shinshu soba, so delicious! I was skeptical that it would be at the lunch level of an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but the nigiri sushi and Shinshu soba were both extremely delicious, made with the skills of professional chefs. I finished it in no time and it was really delicious! It's been a while since I wanted to eat again right after I finished eating, and I'd like to try other dishes next time, as well as Sanuki udon, so I'd definitely like to come back again.
