大宮駅東口の大宮公園と駅のちょうど中間くらいにあるお店です。
以前はもっと駅前のビルの上にありましたがこちらに移動してきました。
以前伺った時は前の建物の時で、私の成人のお祝いをこちらでやらせて頂きました。
その時はずいぶん風格のあるお店に連れて来れれて緊張して味を楽しむところではありませんでした。
今回は年もとり少し余裕もでき仕事の関係で伺えたのでラッキーといった感じでした。
外観は小料理屋さんといった感じです。
目の前に病院があるのが入るときはちょっと気になりましたが、玄関を入ると別世界でした。
以前ビルに入っていたときを彷彿とさせる造りです。
部屋に案内され席に着くと、細かい所の設えも良い物がそろっていてさすがの高級店といった感じです。
まずはビールで乾杯ですがこちらのグラスも見事ですね。
お料理は季節の物をふんだんに取り入れてある構成です。
器もかなり良い物を使っているようで、料理が映えますね。
お味は上品な味付けです。
変に素材をこねくり回す感じもなく職人さんと素材の駆け引きが感じ取れます。
ちょっと蒸し物と食事が私にはピンとこないところがありましたが、それ以外はとても美味しかったです。
お酒も上等がそろっておりぬかりのない感じでした。
接客は淡泊？というかシンプルな感じです。
過剰な接客よりかは私は好きです。
人によっては抑え過ぎの接客と感じる方もいるかもしれませんが、こういうお店の接客は淡泊なくらいがちょうどいいと思います。
さすが老舗のなせる業といった感じでしょうか。
設え等を考えると、お値段も適正価格といった感じだと思います。
大宮で京都を感じるそんな時間を過ごさせていただきました。
