“Old Nakasendo Urawa-juku” used to be lined with pine trees. Tamaya, a restaurant founded in 1928, is located in the quiet town of Tokiwa, Urawa. This room overlooks a garden that changes with the changing seasons, centering around a 60-year-old Somei Yoshino cherry tree, giving you a sense of the four seasons. A separate special room with an open-air bath. There are only five private rooms, large and small, with a large hall that can accommodate up to 50 people, and a separate lounge and bar. We welcome guests in a high-quality Japanese space that is also used as a filming location for movies and dramas. |
元々は置屋さん（芸者遊びをする料亭）だったのですが、代が変わってイメージを一新して一般の方にも楽しめる店づくりをされているようです。
高級料亭の外観や店の造りは、行く度に非日常を感じさせますから、アミューズメントパークの一種として楽しむこともできます。
・年配の方とはお座敷から池の鯉を見ながらしっぽりと
・若い方とは大正ロマン風の椅子席で楽しく
大切な記念日となるような宴会を開いては良いのではないでしょうか。ランチ営業あっていろいろ企画しているようですし、若女将さんが女性視点で工夫していますので、そちらも検討してはいかがかと。
完全予約制で基本はコース料理なのでメニューに外れはありません。中身は料亭の流れを汲んでいますから相応の敬意をもっていただくとしましょう。
日本酒もかなりレアなものが置いてあるので事前に聞いてみては。料亭で庭を見ながらいただく十四代の大吟醸は乙なもんですよ。領収書を使ってこそできる最高の贅沢です。
まぁ、私はドラマ半澤直樹のロケ地巡礼で行ったのが最初なんですけどね。
浦和の玉家さんが第三話のロケ地であると知って、知り合いのツテを辿って予約を無理矢理入れて貰いました。お店は若女将さんが仕切っておられるようですが、その節はスミマセンでした。
聞くところによると、当店【玉家】さんは、そういったロケ地をお世話する方の間では使い勝手のいい料亭として知られているみたいで、半澤直樹だけでなく色々な映画・ドラマで使われています。中居さんもたまーにそんな話題を振られることはあるみたいですね。
まぁ、私みたいに、ドラマのファンを見つけて接待に連れて行って、撮影までしてあげる変人は少ないでしょうがw
ちなみに誰かを連れていくと、別の人が話を聞いてまた頼まれるの無限ループにはまっています。サラリーマンや若い娘さんを持つ方には良いトークネタになるらしいです（笑）

机バンバンの小木曽次長と浅野支店長の宴席シーンで使われています。
支店長の奥さんと子供から電話がかかってきたリ、二人で悪だくみをしている料亭です。
