Loved by Urawa residents for 50 years. Enjoy Edomae sushi to your heart's content in Urawa [Recommended for banquets]
1 minute walk from Urawa Station. Founded in 1866, this restaurant has been serving Edomae sushi for 200 years. While preserving its history, it also has a warm, homey atmosphere. For sushi, you can e |
[2 ☆ 1/2 It's worth the price, and it's a good choice if you're looking for something nearby!] I visited Urawa for work. I checked Tabelog if I could have a bite to eat near the station. The atmosphere and ingredients display is casual and local. There were several groups of older people who seemed to be regulars. I had summer Oyster and sake, and a few recommended pieces. Edomae sushi with simmered sushi on top. Since it was summer, the green fish was also delicious. Maybe because the chef doesn't drink sake, he doesn't seem to be picky about famous places. Still, I'm grateful that there are many local sakes, not just Fushimi and Nada. I think the price is a little high compared to what I've eaten... but you can't tell after just one visit. I don't think the taste is bad. The proprietress and her son, the chef, are very friendly! If you're looking for something nearby, it's definitely a good choice.
