先代が１９６０年に柳橋の美家古鮨 本店から暖簾分けされ浦和駅東口に開店したのが浦和の美家古鮨の始まりです。現在は同じく柳橋美家古で修行した２代目の秋山直人氏が浦和駅再開発に伴い西口に移転して営業しています。
煮きりを使った握りは柳橋美家古の影響かと思いますが、価格は浦和価格になっています。
個人的に好きなつまみはアンキモで、蒸したものではなく、煮込んで甘みの強い仕上がりとなっています。
浦和にはよし佳という名店もありますが、当店は深夜までやっており、仕事の後に気軽にふらりと立ち寄れて鮨をつめめる店だと考えております。浦和レッズのポンテ選手と２度ほど店で会いました。
サービス
先代の女将さんであるお母さんと二人三脚でやっている店です。カードは使えるようにしてもらえると嬉しいです。
雰囲気
西口に移転してトイレ等も綺麗になりました。禁煙でないのは残念ですね。
