This is the restaurant next to Tosaka, which I often visit. It's a Fried Skewers restaurant that is open for lunch. I came here once for lunch, but it was closed. They are closed on other days besides Tuesday, such as Tuesday and Wednesday, or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There is a calendar of closing days posted in front of the restaurant, but you won't know if they're open until you come either way. I quickly check the menu at the front of the restaurant. There are a lot of lunch items. I was Fried Skewers between the sauce cutlet set meal and the pork loin ginger set meal, but since it's a kushiage restaurant, I thought Fried food would be good. As I was about to enter the restaurant, there was an unpleasant sticker on the top right of the entrance. It said ``Smoking permitted''. I was scared for a moment, but I decided to go in. I sat at the very end of the counter and looked at the table, and there was no ashtray. Maybe they don't smoke during lunch time. It's not written on the wall, so I'm not sure. Then, one elderly customer came after me. Or two. No one smokes. That's good. The food was served in about 10 minutes. Amazing. It said that it would come with Small dish, but I got a full 3-kind serving. Boiled pumpkin, rolled egg, and for some reason crab sticks. I took a sip of miso soup. The broth was made from dried sardines. It had a strong flavor. It's a matter of personal preference... I love miso soup and dried sardines, so why can't I have a problem with dried sardines + miso? I don't know myself. The pumpkin is delicious without being sweet. The rolled egg doesn't need to be sweet either. Speaking of sweet rolled egg, the fried chicken genius in my neighborhood had its shutters down and a sign saying "We will be closed for a while." I guess it'll just fade away like this. Three pieces of pork fillet cutlet. Not too hard, but not too bad. All of this and a free extra serving of rice for 880 yen is great value for money. I'd definitely like to try the ginger pork too.
