Still feeling the disappointment of not being able to enter Standing bar, I visited Gamushara for the first time because it is a restaurant that does not allow children. I previously came with my eldest son thinking that we could go if they had a set meal, but they refused. Children are not allowed. ■Atmosphere and access It is a 5-minute walk from the east exit of Kawaguchi Station. It is located in a corner of a confusing back alley where Ramen shops Ryukou and Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Flare are located. There are other restaurants in this area that I am interested in. When I entered the restaurant, the owner was watching TV and there were no other customers. When I called out "Hello" cheerfully, he was extremely depressed and said please sit at the counter. Oh, what an atmosphere that I didn't want to come... I sat down thinking that. ■Menu There is a fairly wide selection of menu items. I started by ordering the 980 yen bargain set that caught my eye. Appetizer + beer + 3 kinds of Fried Skewers or sashimi platter I chose the sashimi platter, and ordered Other I could think of, such as fried ginkgo, fried octopus, grilled shishamo, and Fried Skewers. ■Serving and tasting, taste Since it is run by one person, the style is to make the food after receiving an order. It takes a fair amount of time for the food to be served. Xiaolongbao served as an appetizer were quite delicious. The sashimi platter was as small as the picture. I regret not ordering Fried Skewers. The octopus had a firm texture and was delicious. I also like ginkgo nuts, so it was fine, but both were very salty. I'm worried that my high blood pressure will kill me lol I guess it's a snack that goes well with alcohol. The beer is slowly disappearing. I finished my beer before the shishamo arrived, and wanted to order another, but they were making it very hard, so I waited for the octopus and ginkgo nuts until the shishamo arrived... I finished it! Just when I thought I was thirsty, the shishamo arrived and they asked me for my next drink. I was intrigued by the homemade sign, so I ordered a pickled plum sour. The shishamo really seemed to have been carefully grilled raw, hot and crunchy, plump and delicious. Finally, I ate the signature Fried Skewers. I should have done this from the beginning... The onions were mysteriously spicy, but other than that, it was quite delicious. It was good value for money, and Fried Skewers alone might be the best. ■Service and customer service It seems like he's working alone, but he doesn't seem to have much energy, so I'm worried. It's a very difficult atmosphere to order from. I wonder if he's a craftsman. ■Summary Each dish is quite tasty, and Fried Skewers are excellent value for money, so it's okay if you come here for a drink. However, I don't really like the atmosphere. It's a restaurant that doesn't allow children, so I don't think I'll be able to visit again.
